5 Backyard Projects to Tackle this Spring

The warm, breezy spring weather means it’s time to step out of your home and into your yard. There are a few projects you can do to prepare your backyard landscape for this season— and our team at PrivacyLink is here to help with any of your fencing needs along the way.

#1. Create a Stone Walkway

There’s nothing better than a lovely stone walkway that guides guests through your yard. Be sure to take measurements and draw out the pathway so you know how many stones or pavers to use.

#2. Add a Fire Pit

A fire pit is a great addition to any backyard! You can purchase a fire pit at a home improvement store, make one yourself, or rely on a local landscape designer to execute a backyard plan that includes a fire pit.

#3. Put up a Privacy Fence

If you’re looking to add more privacy to backyard this spring, getting a new privacy fence should be at the top of your to-do list. At PrivacyLink, we have many fencing options to choose from – composite fence panels, simulated stone vinyl fence, chain link fence inserts – and much more! Plus, we also offer chain link gate latch and other hardware and accessories to complete your new fence.

#4. Get Outdoor Landscape Lights

We could spend hours looking at the wide variety of landscape lights that are available for purchase online or at home improvement stores. From solar lights near shrubs to hanging lights on pergolas to underwater lights on fountains, the options are nearly endless!

#5. Build a Small Stone Garden

If you have a smaller yard and want a gorgeous backyard that is low-maintenance, we suggest building a small stone garden. This is also a great option for people that have a limited budget, as you can find supplies for it at discount stores, yard sales, and more.
